Um, really there have only been at most two design changes, from beta to orginal sins and then a couple of changes before Entrenchment was released to certain strikecraft like the Advent fighter, TEC bomber etc. That's really not much of a change, and if you are only playing single player its pretty easy to make a mod that will change them back. I'd much rather the devs spend time on actual content.

Actual content. Right. Like "Pet Lasers?" Maybe I'm just a total idiot but this game seems to focus pretty heavily on aesthetics. I'm not talking about a total game revamp, just maybe a random dice roll that will switch up the ship model every few builds or so.
