Installing issues

I tried to email the co at the given email [email protected] but got a failed to send domain none existant so given that i had the letter composed i thought id just post it here.

First i would like to know why my game is not installing properly and
if this can be fixed it may clear up the following issues. When I
install my version of SoaSE Trinity, everything seams to work fine,
and the game launch's fine and plays however when i exit the game and
go to auto run to play it again the launch page says i need to
install, exploring the disk folder and doing auto run, setup, or run
program it asks if i wish to uninstall. form there i can either hit ok
and uninstall it (doing so and reinstalling it dose not fix the
problem) or cancel. When I do reinstall it i install it to the
recommended folder. and if i open the folder in my hard drive and i
run the game in either SoaSE original, Entrenchment, or Diplomacy i
get a error message "The application failed to initialize properly
(0xc000022). Click OK to terminate the application." so there is
something amiss. also is there a support number i could call. having
to wait two or more days between corresponding emails could take a
while given the complexity of the issue.

Second i am having registering problems with impulse, i bought my copy
of Trinity at Supper Target so i know that the Serial Number is fine
and have tried registering but get a message saying that it is
invalid, i had hoped that i needed to update the game in order to
resolve the issue. given that i bought it from a store and not online
i can trust that the serial is legit. And also im assuming that it
would have told me if the serial was already in use to the fact that
someone could have key generated it. So it could be a issue with
impulse.

third i would like to use mods with this game and seen that it is mod
able. and it says to install mods to the mod folder but i dont see any
mod folder, so a quick rundown on how to upload mods would be
thankful. granted if i don't find solution to the first two it would
be a mute point.

I await your responce, i know it's memorial day weekend so im not
expecting a reply till wed  the first. thanks

First, try [email protected]. You forgot the 'sins'. Hopefully they can help you fix the first two.

As to the mods folders there are two issues. First, the files are 'hidden'. This is a Microsoft demand, don't blame Ironclad please. So you need to go to your folder's option menu and make them seen. Second, if you have already done this, you need to go to the mod menu and select the show mod file path. This creates it.

Isn't [email protected] a valid address Ryat (even though yours is probably better)? Regardless in the address the OP has he's missing the 'm', so that would be the reason for your failed email and the nonexistant domain.

Also make sure you are registering the correct version of Sins you bought. Registering a Trinity serial while selecting the original "Sins of a Solar Empire" from the register list will obviously cause problem. Support is usually good at resolving serial problem once they actually get the email.

Are you starting the game through a shortcut? Make sure your shortcut it selecting the .exe directly as installed on your computer, not the autorun on the disk. In fact you don't even need the disk to run the game, so I don't know any other reason for it to be asking to install.

well long story short i caught a rather nasty virus a week or two back and thought i took care of it, it seams to have corrupted my files on that particular account, switched to my back up admin account and everything works fine now. silly me.
