Hi
I had ASUS® P6T: DDR3, 3-Way SLI & CrossFireX on Demand motherboard that developed a fault and since it was still under warranty they send me ASUS P6X58D-E motherboard as a replacement. P6T motherboards are out of production due to high fault rate.
It is different motherboard and I don't know if it is suitable replacement for motherboard I had before.
Main reason I'm asking because I have 2 GTX 285 (palit model) that fitted in P6T but I cannot install them in replacement mobo PCIEx16 slots because they are too thick. Third PCIE slot is way to far down and my PSU is in the way.
Any shedding of light on how they compare would be really appreciated.
Thank you
Greg
