Rebellion? Or...?

Last I checked, there's still a week left in June. Wait until July to start complaining about no new info "next month."

Must be using the Mayan Calendar or something... 

FYI, the people who are working on the new patch and the people working on Rebellion are completely different people. Ironclad is probably doing the new expansion, while I think it is Stardock doing the patch. Naturally they have to coordinate a bit, but the patch is merely to get Diplomacy to do what it was supposed to do from the beginning.

Essentially what they are doing is having one team work on finishing up the foundation while the other has started building up on the parts that were already complete. Double win for us, as we'll get a good new expansion plus the better diplomacy we already paid for!

Because what I just want is more information and screenshots from Rebellion, I wish they "suddenly" post new info even on the next week. In other words, I'm provoking them, not you so, if you are not Ironclad/Stardock, well you get the idea.

Hmm, that's odd. I still seem to be alive Maybe it has something to do with you getting my screen name wrong. And if you will carefully reread my post, I never said there would be new info in June. Just that there was still a week left in June, and that you should wait until July to start whining. Obviously, that did not happen.

And all I said was that you were probably using a different calendar, which you admitted to being true...  So...  If there's any laughing going on, it's not you laughing at me.  =]

Excuses only satisfy those who says them. Like Devs for example, who are the main focus of my thread and not you two, so I don't know why you're still heated up against me since all I'm doing is trying to get information. They have announced Rebellion since when.... Then they went, "Rebellion preorders begin" and then what? Nothing. We are waiting for their promises of screenshots, info, etc. I knew they wouldn't post new info about Rebellion as they promised on May that's why I posted on the 24th because they tend to update their website roughly the same date of the month. So if they are working on something else (read: more important), they better be honest with us (you two included) and not sell promises... ahem... "pre-order" promises.

They are secretly working on doing the motion physics  for the upcoming new movie, Carebears: the Return.  I hear it's going to be epic.

I'm still trying to recall a software company that meets its initial release dates...no luck so far.

No one is heated...  Well, maybe you are, you did tell us both to die...  You sure you're not a terrorist?  I mean it could have been a simple fuck off or kiss my ass or something like that, but 'You both die.'  We're just doing whatever it is we do all day not worrying about these things and listening to you complain and then randomly commenting.  Personally, I couldn't care less if they had no new information for us for a few months.  I pre-ordered, but as yet, haven't been charged for anything, so I'm not financially linked to the project.  Plus, it was stated that it would be released near the end of the year, but as I pointed out when the announcement was made, that all previous releases of Sins products came in February...  So even if they don't deliver by the end of the year and it rolls over into 2012, I'm still not worried because I'm already aware of the previous release schedules for the game and don't expect anything less for this expansion.  Ultimately, until I'm charged for the game, they can take as long as they want without telling me or anyone else anything.  It just doesn't matter.

Did you pre-order the game?  If not, then you really have no right to complain.  If you did pre-order, contact sales and have them remove your pre-order if you're this unsatisfied with their efforts.  As far as I know, my credit card has yet to be charged so if I were to get mad and say remove my pre-order, my name is just removed from a list.  Not that big of a deal.

Its a difficult moment for IC, undeniable success with SoaSE but lets be open and frank here it wasn't everyones cup of tea and they have capitalised on the space RTS market with Relic/THQ doing other projects. The really telling sign is MP activity i.e. people that purchased the game vs. people that really play it...

The expectation on Rebellion is going to be higher, I would say take time out and get it right is the best course of action for IC.

Pick a release window that avoids the likes of BF3 & Diablo3.

Alright Stant123 you're confused. I am not heated. I meant no harm like, when someone says "you die" in a game is not a big deal, we all die in games and this is about a game isn't it? So don't take it like personal, let's see other options were: "your Kol-or-whatever-cap die" (lame)  and "kiss my ass" (I wouldn't like that) and "fuck off" (that's an insult) so that leaves our winner "you die"; whatever, as I said, I am not mad, just complaining them and you were in the middle so, sorry for that if you wanted to hear it I'm human, I apologize for shooting you dead. Plain and simple, just to be cool and put an end to our misunderstood tyranny.

Still......... no new screenshots! I did pre-order, and I'm not cancelling, I just want to see the freaking Titans they promised to show us like 2-3 months ago, why this haven't happened already? Dunno, not my problem. It's theirs. I don't work at IC. I'm but a customer.

Um, Mr. Yarlen Carebears, where are the appetizers? I hope they aren't those dev journals which are NOT Rebellion screenshots. We are very done with SoaSe. It's a re-fry the fact that you are doing more patches instead of doing Rebellion.

Now that v1.3 patch is out, I will just sit down and wait what excuse will they invent to uphold Rebellion Screenshots.

Well...the people who worked on v1.3 are not the people working on Rebellion...IIRC Ironclad has the expansion pack while Stardock is in charge of updating diplomacy and readying it for Rebellion...

But, I could be wrong...

Just be careful, Ironclad can call someone on your end and keep asking if whatever project you're suppose to do is getting done.
