Using Dev.exe always resets my settings...

As the title says. Every time I use one of the Dev.exe's, all my settings (key binding, video options, effect options, etc) are reset. Given that I often want to use the dev.exe for testing purposes, this is very problematic. Dev.exe starts with everything on default, and when I exit and use the main game executable, everything there's been reset too. Any idea on how to fix this?

Save the settings file with a new name or in another folder then replace when you are done testing. Its in one of those folders that the mods folders are in.

It's done that forever. The only "fix" is to keep a back up of your user.settings files and keep copy-pasting that in every time you switch.

The reason it happens is because the Dev needs to change some of your settings files to work properly (show errors and stuff). So every time you start it after playing the regular game it makes a new settings file.
