Well, me and my Sins group are excited for the coming rebelions some have already called certain rebel, loyalist groups

I have to admit I pirated Sins as well, not because I wanted to try it but at the time I was out of a job and really wanted and knew that once I could get the game I would and sure enough I did, I bought the GOTY for the awesome soundtrack CD, still want a copy of Trinity and despite what others say I'm eagerly awaiting Rebellion, I've loved all the expansions of Sins, can't get enough, I don't even get mad when a update comes out and my current save is useless, I just love starting over and enjoying the game.

It's funny how allowing pirates to play a full demo of the game resulted in some actual sales.

People pirated it and liked it.  Then they bought the game itself so they could get the patches on Impulse and in some cases to be able to play on Ironclad Online.

^ that more or less seems to be the case ... which is the reason I like that you can install the game off the disc, and play it without the disc, and have all your friends try it and LAN together. If everyone likes it, which typically seems to be the case, then everyone goes out and purchases the full game so that they can download IMPROVEMENTS and EXPANSION PACKS which only EXPAND the already STELLAR game play! Stardock and IronClad certainly know what they're doing. It's why they were top game of 2008.

Man... I remember in the old days.... nobody told you anything about a game before it came out. You had no idea. You'd be lucky to hear about it relatively soon after it's release... I mean, maybe a few were built up and you'd know it was coming, but I dont remember ever being told when or much of anything about them. You'd have to go to the store every week and check. What's the world come to?

*sigh* I must be getting old. Great. When did that happen?

Yea but all those fantasy worlds now exist virtually, there's no need to run around as children wielding foam swords and knight armour made out of cardboard.

I heard an NPR clip the other day asking about whether we're no longer getting the Vitamin D we need as a result of spending so much time inside.

Back in my day, the neighborhood kids would come home from school, drop our books in our rooms, and be gone, somewhere outside until the moms started yelling for everyone to come home for dinner. Boy, our moms could really project their voices!
