Bought Trinity but didn't get trinity

Entrenchment and Diplomacy are digital downloads only.  When you run the included impulse application, the my games tab will display all three games.  From there you can download and install the two micro expansions.

err... yah the problem is that none of that pops out only the original.

So you've run the impulse application? (It'll ask to update once it connects, probably should let it)

Registered your game?

Still don't see the three versions on the my games tab list? (May only be one game that says Trinity I don't know since I don't have Trinity, only the pieces as they were released.)

Run any game updates listed there?

If that's the case, email [email protected] and explain your problem in detail.  It's also helpful to include pictures of your game box and receipt so that they know you legitimately paid for it and you got the version you paid for.

Edit: You may have been ripped off by someone's carelessness in this case.  Was the wrapper around the sleeve tampered with?  It's probably best to take the game back to Target and explain to them what has happened and demand to exchange it for the proper game you paid for.

Everyone I've ever talked to about it said they got trinity and only the core game came in the box and they had to download the expansions just like the rest of us.

IDK what happened the wrapper wasn't touched at all. It seemed untouched to me.

Look like someone back at the factory or where ever they make the discs put the wrong case in the wrong box.

EDIT: I did install this version without realizing it was the wrong one will that cause problems?

Rovert, I would return that back to the store immediately. Accidentally or not it seems the store you got it at has mixed the Trinity outer casing with the GoTY edition inside. Its quite possible to re-shrinkwrap the packaging. Thus what you bought was really the GoTY edition which does not have Entrenchment or Diplomacy.  Do not register the game if you do this.

Edit: Well you can still take it back, its just unfortunate if anyone else tries to buy the same game.

Yeah... due to my apparent stupidity and careless at the time I did register this one....

See what support can do for you as you intended to buy Trinity. Maybe they will give you a free upgrade.

If the package was factory sealed when you bought it, please email [email protected] with proof of purchase and they should be able to work something out. If it was not factory sealed, then it's likely it was tampered with at the retail end, and you should exchange it there for a copy which is what you actually paid for.

how would you know if it was factory sealed or not???

If the sleeve you pulled the DVD case out of had only 1 layer of tape that you had to cut to free the case from the sleeve, then it was factory sealed.  If the sleeve was not taped to the case, or there are pieces of tape on the sleeve but which did not attach to the DVD case, or there is more then one layer of tape, then it is not considered factory sealed.
