Rebellion Pre-Order Issues

I pre-ordered Rebellion today and received the order confirmation email from [email protected] with the order number.

However, the email stated that my card will only be charged when the game is released however, wasn't there a notice slightly more than a few days ago saying that the pre-order system was changed?

Secondly, I do not see any record of the pre-order in my Stardock or Impulse accounts, is this normal?

Yes, until it is charged it is just a queued sales order, so there won't be any registration to put on your account until it does get charged.

Typically we charge when something is made available (which may be either the final game or a beta in the case of a pre-order). If you have any questions about that, please contact [email protected] and they should be able to help.

EvoDest - You may have seen something about pre-order system changes related to Impulse.  Gamestop now owns Impulse and they will be doing pre-orders differently than Stardock. All Rebellion pre-orders are with Stardock only at the current time.
