Why did you take the brackets away?

I just returned to the game and found out that you have removed brackets from being allowed in names.  Our clan was formed around the brackets [_] and Brothers in Arms has been around since the beginning of sins.  It's the brackets that set clans apart, just like the other major clan [DT].  Now any new recruits we have can't show there clan tag, can you fix this in the next patch, and let us have our brackets again?

I might soon be corrected but I think it was taken out to block chat spammers changing their name and not be able to block or ban them or something like that.

They might reincorporate brackets if they can figure out another way to block out chat spammers.

They can make it only brackets allowed instead of all special characters

This isn't something we'll be changing, but we are going to look at adding some kind of basic clan support into Rebellion so that your clan name is auto-appended in brackets.

Poor clans, gonna have to hold out for more info...

Remember, more Rebellion info is coming next month... :P
