SoaSE should no longer crash when it reaches 2GB with this (hopefully).
Most modern Windows versions (XP and upwards) and CPUs have a feature called PAE (Physical Address Extension). For an application to make use of this, it must have it enabled in it's executable file.
I HIGHLY recommend backing up your exes before attempting this, however.
I have edited this post as I have found an application that can do it which is much nicer, although this is still experimental.
