Planet only mod

is there a way to take planets out of other mods to build a planet olny expansion mod?

I am sitting here wondering if there is a way to build a planet only mod that will allow you to pull the planet scriptings from other mods and if it is even feasable to do such a mod.

each file that is modded effects other files as well so I don't think you can "Pull" from other mods but manually taking the needed files for planets is not to difficult.

Lets say you add a water or ocean planet. That will effect the entity.manifest and the galaxyscenariodef and whatever texture sheets you added or changed to get the planets icons in-game. Also the english.str is changed for each title and description.

I am beginning to think that it might be better to let those people that have been modding for a while do the work and enjoy the fruits of there labors

So in other words you're going to beg other modders, who probably have other things that they're working on (like REAL LIFE, as well as other modding projects), to make this for you.
