Planets

Are there any mods out there that just add planets, and nothing else? If so, do tell.

Um, where have you been? Sins plus, Novas Universum, Celestial Bodies etc. are all planet mods, but they may not be up to date in there isolated form.

Right, maybe I should have been more specific.

Can Sins Plus be updated to Diplomacy 1.32? That's the one I was wanting. I heard you can update mods, but I've got no idea how.

harpo99999 has tools that can do the job some what.

ja394, there is a QUANTUM break between diplomacy 1.2x & diplomacy 1.3x as far as my mod updater is concerned ie NO it will NOT update mods to diplomacy 1.3x. the cause is the major rework of the diplomacy  pacts which alter the playerRACE.entity's.

I wouldn't think pure planet mods would change the player entity files much. Only some extra colonization research at most I would think.

Well what I did was download the one from Rick's, place it in the mods folder, grab the player files from Diplo 1.32 and edit them accordingly so the research tech is referenced. Works like a charm.

@harpo: Yeah, I shoulda relized that. Wasn't thinking clearly. Concussions and staying up till 3 in the morning don't help.

@Goa: That's my line of thinking, too.
