Why all patches should be scrapped until the Empire Tree is fixed

The empire tree is the biggest piece of shit in the entire game.  No, in the entire universe.  I would love to shove it up the ass of each developer that is responsible for leaving it in it's current state.  I am hating on it.  It jumps around, up and down, and makes it impossible to use for unit targeting like it should.  YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES THAT PUT UP WITH IT ARE FUCKING LEMMING SWINEHERDS!  (oh, wait, that's me).  Just so sick of having it fuck up my games.

Did I mention that I hate it?  I am so pissed that there has never been a unified revolt against it.  It's simply unfathomable that a global boycott against playing until it is fixed has never materialized.

I hate you all, but you should join me in a world wide rage against the Empire Tree!

"The empire tree is supposed to make ship organization and giving commands easier. However, especially in larger battles, ships are either dying, leaving, or entering the battle so quickly that reliably selecting a ship and giving it a command from the empire tree can be very difficult, if not impossible, because the ships displayed jump around so much."

The empire tree is nearly impossible to use when it's most needed (when there are a good number of ships in the battle).
