Hello, i recently purchased the game after hearing about it from some friends who are playing the game over lan. My problem is that after buying the game me and my roommate are not able to play with each other over lan (hamachi). The weird thing however is that with a torrented version i got from a friend, we are able to play lan no problem. So i'm wondering how i could get my retail version to work because i dislike having to play a pirated unpatched game when i do own a legitimate copy.

I'm on a university network so i don't have control over the router, but i find it odd that the torrent works but the retail doesn't.
