Hello, i am new araund here. And i dont want to butt in on your forum drama, but today i had wonderfull honour to play with Howdidudothat. I assume it was you, since your in game name was [DT] Howthe?, and Qu4ar is [DT]Quar, right?

And while i dont know anyone in here since Ive been confined to play LAN games on vanilla with my community past month before i got diplomacy. After making up my mind to try IC-online i got VERY bad impression from some of the established gamers. Howthe? was among the worst jerks Ive run in on line gaming for a while. He acted like a pimple nosed hormone pumpped teen, wanting to play with cool kids only. And thats all fine, because no one else was ever new at multiplayer, right? You all installed this game and knew all the multi player tricks.

Regardless, here is story of my encounter with this fine gentleman: First game, i do exactly what Howthe? asks, being new to Internet MP, i dont question, just do and try to learn. Aftermath was that Howthe? ended up blaming his team, me included, for everything from ozone layer depletion to global warming. Needless to say, we lost that game.

I go watch replay to see what i did wrong, what other people did right. Search forums for tips and tricks and refresh my memory on TEC cap ship abilities. I was taken by surprise with sova.

Game 2: I was on team captained by Quar. No problems, i start at middle spot, and figure out that i should go economy first, supporting team. All work our just fine, no screams, shouts or tears. Civil game and good result.

Game 3: Quar and Howthe? pick a team, we duke it out. In the end Howthe? rage quits with force of thousands suns. Taking and oath to never let me play in his games again.

Game 4: A perfectly good game without Howthe?. Quar being completely civil even after his home world was over run. A game that i thought we will lose, turned in to a victory.

Now, i am fairly new to sins ICO multilayer (not in community LAN mp, however), but i am not stupid. I can read, i can watch and i certainly can learn. I have long history in starcraft, Total annihilation, Supreme commander, Homeworld 1 and 2 and Sword of the stars. I am scifi RTS fan trough and trough.

I have a feeling Howthe? is one trick pony with big ego, and when he fails he tend to blame anything, stars, demons spirits and his own team, but never himself. Now, i dont know why someone has irked you so badly that you had to ban him (who wants to be in your clan after your performance?) from your close circle... but i think i get the feeling it might have to do SOMETHING with your behavior. Think about that.

This is something the OP is explicitly guilty off himself. So i have this feeling that pot is calling kettle black here.

And while i normally ignore these colossal, world class, geniuses like our OP here, i just couldn't let this slide after he crossed paths with me.

I have not met Siddy, so i can not say. But what little contact i had with Howdidyoudothat left me with impression of spoiled and egoistic person who cant take one for the team.

Also, his elitist attitude towards anyone new and starting is appalling. From what i seen, the community is small and inbred as it is. You hardly need someone actively doing his best at driving new people away.

Banana the problem is as old as Siddys history on ico.

Skilled player smurfs. mostly me , sometimes i feel im the last smurf on ico

Other players thet do not smurfs dont want game to be stacked by smurf and kick everyone they dont know. And every new opeople become a victim of their nazi antismurf war.

This war already  put isco to a "close to death" phase ofr a year and now its doing the same..

Cause new people have no place to learn , beeing kicked , called smurfs, ect

Now , How did smurf himself for few years , he was quite good at it like every DT.
But something changed , now he hates smurfs. What is much more annoying , he stacks games against smurfs/new people nad his argument about is " wtf are you talking about ? i dont know anyone in here"

ONline sins comunity is ver small and very old. everyone knows everyone for a years. If u see same faces all the time its booring like hell. Its like playing constantly on the same premade map , what non-smurfing commity is traying to do now.

Sins is special , different from every other game cause every game is different , it has a lot of strategies and map is different for every game. Also smurfing  add some divesification. I know How u fail to see it but when u will stop kicking every one u dont know, smurf will stop pretending they are totaly new in other not to be kiced

We need new. In other to keep this game allive.

What we dont need is kicking , stacking  and calling everyone a smurf.

We also need siddy  . Even if gGrey say he doesnt... have u seen Grey lately? no? thats y he doesnt

Besides in few months rebelion will solve the problem and everyone will be happy.
