Hi Stardock! I'll be getting your object desktop programs soon when my new Windows 7 computer arrives, I just had an idea about something that might pique your interest and hopefully be practical too.
i've been using my smartphone (a HTC desire) for the last year now, and i've been very happy with it. but what i love the most about the phone itself is it has mutiple "Scroll able Desktops" that you can fill with apps, widgets and such. now I was wondering, could you import that into a desktop

You start in the Main desktop (with a standard windows wallpaper) You fill this with all your normal files, folders and your usual stuff
you flick to the left and there's another desktop (with a plain wallpaper or something to help concentration) this has all your office applications and .doc and .xls files and etc
you flick to the right twice and there you'll find another one (with some gaming related wallpaper) this has all your game programs in it, and has any projects to do with games (mods/saves/texture swaps etc) inside.
Obviously you can use what i've said for anything. if your work orientated you could have a word/excell/access set of desktops or whatever you want
Let me know what you think because I think it could be done, thanks for your time.
