Is there any way to increase all ship speeds only within a star's gravity well without effecting it anywhere else? I think they're just too slow when near the star.
Nope. But you can modify the size of a star's gravwell to be like a planet's. Seems how that is why the ships seem slower there.
Could add a speed buff to the stars current solar regeneration ability.
