well we won 3/3 elise support... viable? I think so... think it'd be hard against a leona since cc seemed to eff us up a little that last game.
honestly, I'm still on the fence for 2 reasons - 1 - the people we were laned up against in all of those games were pretty awful. 2 - due to that awfulness, they never really capitalized when you'd miss your snare. Other side note - while it wasn't a debacle (huehue), you really need to make more of an effort not to take secured kills or to at least purchase items that directly benefit your adc if you've taken, oh say 4 of their kills. 1 of those 4 kills you def should have taken and was a great play. The other 3, at least to me, were obviously secured kills. I'd expect to see an early aegis and not additional gp/5's for you. My fault for continuing to play like I actually had the money when we were like 8/0 or whatever, though.
how many league points do you get per win? I just played my first game after placement, won, and got like 36... >.>
The lp system is generally very generous after you place. I think it took me 3-4 games to start my first promo series. As long as you are consistently winning, you'll continue to get similar lp (though you'll see it slowly drop off... very slowly btw). The only weird thing that happened to me was when I hit my silver I to gold V promo series. I went from getting like 25 lp all the way down to like 1lp per game. I still tend to think it might have been a bug (I was on like a 10 game win streak and getting 1 lp per game... was fucking stupid). Did make hitting gold feel like more of an accomplishment. Anyway, I'd expect a similar experience when you get to the gold promo match, but everything should feel pretty steady while you are moving up. 36-18 lp per game sounds about right.
Another thing to keep in mind - there are benefits in playing a bunch of ranked immediately after you place or are promoted to a new division/tier. You are labeled as a rookie and that keeps you from being demoted if you lose a bit after you move up.
We probably had different experiences using it because I use smartcasting for everything. That includes wards, pings, summoner spells... everything. So essentially my left mouse button has been only used for clicking on items in the shop, which I can still do with the guys setup.
that's EXACTLY how I have everything set up on my end. The problem I have is specifically with using the left mouse button. That was no good for me. If I think of it, I'll toy around some with the code and see what else I can come up with.
edit - re: the keybinding. I replied on reddit and a guy responding saying that I must not have my summoner's set to smart cast, which is probably correct. So, that would likely sort out my gripe about not being able to easily use my summoner's. I'm kind of interested now and will likely screw around with it after work.
