Long time Soase player here, who tried to log back into the game for an online game and found that impulse won't work downloading an update. Can't update Soase until I get that update (I think its the "impulse is gamestop's now!" grand turnover update).
I'm pretty much stuck unable to access my investment wondering why a legitimate player is getting screwed by this.
I recieved no email or anything stating any information about how to deal with the turnover of impulse ownership...
Pretty much I just want to know how the fuck do I access my game.
Its up to stardock and gamestop to provide me with the service I payed for, and I'm getting quite pissed that this was executed so poorly.
I've been searching the forums for assistance in this and have found nothing relevant to this issue.
If you describe the actual issue you're having we might be able to offer suggestions, but generally speaking any issues with Impulse downloads or updates need to be dealt with by GameStop support. We don't have control over it any longer since they own it now.
Convenient cop out there kryo. Yet, Stardock owes it to their customers to inform them about the changeover and how to insure that there is no loss of service despite impulse changing hands. If Stardock has any hope of maintaining player trust and keeping its brand strong it must do this. To do anything less is a slap in the face of the customer that isn't soon forgotten. Obviously stardocks brand name is worth less to me now and I will inform others via word of mouth about this poor attention to a critical subject.
I wonder how many others have already done the same?
