Hey, i am thinking of coming back to my favorite game     !!sins of solar empire!! after playing sc2 for a long time.

Really excited to see there will come another expansion " rebellion " !

My questions are:

 a.) at what time are the most player online ?

 b.) what expansion is actually played the most? (guess trinity)

 c.) how many players are online average?

Nice to see some of the old guard are still around. ^_^

I hope you'll make better come back than Star Wars sequels.

Not many skilled online recently, everyone waiting for Rebellion. You can still have fun games on the weekends though.

Surprisingly, there's been influx of new people from Steam sale. They're called steamboys and they're running away fast after being raped repeatedly and having no idea what's going on.

Nice to see you still around, when you are online average in sins?

Woud be nice to make some games..

funny story about the steamboys x) i hope the community will grow in Rebillion and get a solid playercount .

After playing many RTS games i honestly think sins is the greatest !!! i had the most fun here.

I actually downloading trinity x)

Usually around 21:00-1:00 Euro time. Mostly weekends, sometimes workdays.

Star, Quar and many others tried it. It just doesn't work for reasons which had been mentioned many times. If someone already knows the basics, loves the game and is smart enough to learn then I can teach him , no prob. But mass noob schools were tried by some DTs and failed.

It's a very tough game if you have no strategy simulation background and I think a lot of new players might move on when they see that--so yeah, it could be pretty fruitless majoring time to teach the brand spanking new-- just don't infiltrate their games with a stacked team, crush them and then tell them how stupid they are on their first day and some might stay.

Well, Sins IS called a "real-time strategy" game... and learning is part of the fun, at least for me... if they see that the game actually does involve a significant amount of strategy and quit MP off of that, I'm not sure what they would have been expecting...

A lot of people don't know what "strategy" is.  They think it's just euphemism for war or combat.

So i had some nice games and a lot of fun :)

nice to see many players from previous times are still there and fighting!

 

And i woud agree , that game is cryptic compared to other RTS games.

So i woud also agree ist harder for new players without any RTS experience to catch up.

more good games = more skill  :o thats the only way to get better .
