No resolution options

I run my PC on my tv and the optimal fullscreen resolution for it is 1920x1200, However when i load upSoaSE there is only one resolution option which is 1920x1080. This causes important UI features to drop out the bottom of the screen and make the game unplayable in fullscreen.

What makes this especially odd is that when i used to run SoaSE on my old PC which was also connected to my tv the game would run that resolution fine. I would be very much appreciative if someone could help me with this issue

Do you have a display driver installed for the TV? The list there is based on what DirectX/the drivers report are supported.

Failing all else, you can also run in a maximized window.

I have this same problem; I own an LG 23" monitor, and a GE 430 video card.  I only have 1 display setting, 1024*768.  My monitor supports a much higher resolution, as does my video card.  Short of reinstalling the game, are there any other tweaks I might try?

You can manually set the resolution by modifying your diplomacy.user.settings file.  The location varies by your OS and is in the readme.txt file.

When i tried that it didn't change anything, but i fixed the problem by changing my graphics driver settings. it was set to tv resolutions which were 1080p and 720p and stuff so when i changed that the game picked up the supported resolutions just fine, hope this helps you
