I haven't played a couple of weeks but since yesterday my cursor in game is stuttering and vibrating when I move it.  This never happened before and the game has run smoothly on this for years (upgraded from Vanilla all the way to Diplomacy). It looks as if the cursor is "sticking" to the screen if that makes any sense.  This does not happen in Windows.

This begins at the first menu screen and continues to actual gameplay.  The opening cinematics and music are fine.  This happens on Vanilla, Entrenchment, and Diplomacy.   

I've tried a trackball mouse and an optical mouse, and different USB ports and have played with some of the video options.  I tried using the system cursor.  Keyboard seems fine.  Restarted the game and rebooted a number of times.

I did a search and didn't see similar issues reported in the forums.

I have actually seen this before, but it never lasted more than a second.  Now it is constant.

4 GB RAM

Intel Core 2 1.86 GHz

no recent hardware changes
