AI Akkans are autocasting Armistice forever

I'm playing single player as Advent.  I wiped out a TEC player, but their fleet remnant is in my world.  They have 5 Akkans in their fleet remnant and they're autocasting Armistice.  I've tried to snipe units with bombers when Armistice goes down, but the damage doesn't register before another cast of Armistice goes up.  I can ignore the AI planet, but I'm just kind of curious as to a viable solution to wipe the fleet out.  I could change my fleet composition to radiance and see if i can snipe their antimatter reserves as I think the Detonate Antimatter ability will still deplete antimatter even when an Armistice is up.   Is there a solution I'm missing?

If you decrease your presence, they'll stop casting it.  Once you get yourself matched up nicely, they'll pop just fine.

iirc armistice doesnt autocast if the ai thinks their fleet is winning. so, try killing them with a smaller fleet supply than they have.

Radiances have an interrupt ability , Detonate Antimatter, use them.

Edit: You may have to send them in first by themselves so it will be dangerous. Have your fleet ready.

Well personally I've tried it with just the 2 starbases in system and they still infinite cast it...

Their fleet consists of around 8 caps, no sub caps, the computer player has been knocked out of the game, just want the world now..

They just fly around casting armistice and I have no fleets in system at all and no defenses apart from the 2 starbases...

Pretty bad gameplay tbh.

It would be better to have an anti-buff put on units rather than a cooldown on the ability. So unit A gets armistice and cannot take another armistice for 5 minutes.

I don't see how they can really justify this for multiplayer...

You won't get that many level 6 caps in multiplayer, and no sane player is going to have 3 Akkans anyways. ;)
