Game not launching

I just bought Trinity on Steam. I registered successfully, everything went well, but when the game itself started, it was just a black window. Very soon after launching, this window would pop up:

On hitting "ok," the game crashes. Any ideas?

Having similar issues, also interested in whether you've found a solution yet. I've tried all the solutions listed in other threads to no avail, and my support ticket from yesterday is still unanswered, so I'm assuming they're getting swarmed with tickets right now with the beta release.

We're still looking into this but haven't found a cause yet.  One person managed to resolve it by deleting their local content in Steam and reinstalling from scratch.
