I own the original Sins and Entrenchment, but not Diplomacy. Does Rebellion come with that, or do I need to purchase it separately?(Can Diplomacy even be purchased stand-alone now, or do I have to go all-in and get Trinity?)
Rebellion is stand alone. You dont need any previous version but contains all content the previous version has

Although, darnit: the discount doesn't apply unless you have either Diplomacy or Trinity.
You might as well pick up Diplomacy to play now so you get the discount on Rebellion then. It's the same cost either way.
Although if you are asking if Rebellion will contain Diplomacy elements, the answer is yes.
Edit: It already has diplomacy elements.
It just longer has the .exes of the the others like Trinity had.
