I read somewhere here in the forums that you can enable the vasari and advent through modding or something?
Can anyone explain this or perhaps tell me how to unlock them, if It's too complicated maybe upload a file?

I'll give you another hint: many of the mods are devs for Rebellion...
It can be done but I wouldn't expect someone to help you...it's not because they're being mean or selfish, it's just that it is frowned upon...if you feel up to the challenge go for it, but I'd be wary about posting anything in regards to your quest on the forums....may want to consider PMing people who can help you instead of laying out on the open...
Wow you put it as a serious offence to the devs. If It's that harmful, they shouldn't have included the other races in the first place, oh well.
In a way I agree with you, but it actually would take extra work to not include that content, believe it or not...
Honestly I think that the devs don't really mind if someone is able to play the other factions...they just don't want everyone doing it because they want the feedback to be focused on a limited number of items...add all three factions, and there's less feedback that is specifically in regard to the TEC...
If I had to guess, I'd say this is why the relevant thread was deleted only after it became popular...I'm fairly certain the devs knew about it long before they decided to delete it...
Like I said, just PM the right people and I'm sure no one will mind in the least....

Yes, it is possible to unlock the other factions in a few ways, but this causes a few problems for the developers.
For one, you are spoiling yourself. You will be exposing yourself to techs and ship abilities that might get changed or even completely removed. Another thing is that the developers are, as of now, in the debugging state where they care more about how the engine works rather than how a faction plays. Sending info about how certain techs for the Vasari Loyalists are overpowered or bugged will cause issues (and they are). For one, you are cluttering up the fourms with information that the developers have as a second priority, and second, the other factions are still not done(I.E., Vasari Loyalist Titan uses TEC weapons with Advent graphical effects.). The developers know this, and making a post about how tech and the like are bugged just waste their time. Third, you will be basically telling everyone on the fourms how certain factions play, causing massive spoilers.
I wouldn't post such obviously waste of time stuff, just wanted to check out the new graphics with vasari and advent and mind my own buisness with it, also it seems you have tried it yourself given how detailed you explain everything Yottsu, may I get a PM how I can do it?

Lol i agree wit you Yottsu. Now I am a Diehard vasari fan, have been since before the microexpansions came out, and would relish in the opportunity to play them. That being said I wouldnt have come around to playing the TEC for a while which would have caused me to miss the bug or 2 I found. I think the way they are doing it is great even if Id kill for a chance to see the new tech and FX lol

I also modded the game (the 0.60 beta) to enable the other factions. The Advent are mostly done, but the Vasari still need a lot of work. Their Loyalist titan shot TEC beam and autocannon weapons and their corvettes used the same meshes as the Skarovas Enforcers, lol. 
It would be extremely helpful if the people who knew how to do this would respond to PM's. 
Or if someone I haven't gotten around to messaging sees this and wouldn't mind messaging me, that would be awesome too. (Email is fine as well if you wan't to keep it of the site completely if I can ever get the flag to show my email address to take)
