Rebellion beta crash frequency observations

I'm unsure how to supply information about the ongoing Rebellion beta but I'd just like to provide the following:

 

Two - three people on LAN, playing multiplayer. The last beta release would crash after a long period and seemed to have rare lag issues. The current release crashes with a frequency that effectively prevents multiplayer lan play.

Obviously both were betas but I didn't see anyone posting elsewhere.

After this last patch i cannot even play regular, single player games. I have changed my settings to way low, upgraded my video drivers (they were not that old), deleted my local content folder in steam and reloaded, twice. I now cannot get through a full game any way i try. Diplomacy still works good.

Fortunately the minidumps/crashes are recorded and sent to the devs by Steam.
