Explosive shot moves SB's!

A picture is worth a thousand words! The SB used to be where the titan is right now. I find this to be both funny and saddening... means I have to rebuild that SB to make any use of it.

 

On another note, is there anything that would prevent construction drones from respawning? Any capital ship abilities or the sort? I lost the drones in that system and they never respawned during the whole 5min+ fight.

Drones respawn a lot slower in contested gravity wells. Repel the enemy and they should respawn faster.

Hm I doubt this is intentional. It's still really cool. What exactly happened? I've had battles with the Rebal titan against SBs and have not have this happen. I'm not trying to call you out or anything op; I just want to mess around with this for my own amusement!

The AI fleet was keeping it's distance the whole fight, slowly picking off my turrets and other structures and for some odd reason it decided to suicide run it's whole fleet into my SB's. The Titan got close enough to use Scatter Shot and Explosive Shot and the second one hit a turret close to the SB... and there she goes! The SB never stopped moving! I quit the game before I could see how far it would go, it was very late in the morning.

I am going to load that same game again and see if it will happen a second time.

Good luck, the AI probably wont do the exact thing twice :<
