New Star Trek map - compact size

I'm loving the Sacrifice of Angels - Star Trek mod for SoaSE. This map pack is designed with this mod in mind but is not dependent on it.

Choose from five different versions of the map so you can play as whichever of the five Star Trek factions you desire: Federation, Klingon, Romulan, Dominion/Cardassia, and the Borg.

So I slimmed everything down and made a compact (around 70 planets) Alpha Quadrant 5-player map similar in feel to Fulcrum. Here's a pic of the Romulans from a few minutes into the game:

Enjoy, and let me know what you think! I suspect as this gets playtested I'll need to tweak the balance a bit.

The wormholes don't appear to be connected, preventing contact between the gamma and delta quadrants to the alpha.

No, they aren't. Open map wih galaxy forge, connect worm holes with normal phase lanes, then click on phase lane and chnage properties to wormhole. Save.

 

Also, when opening map (In galaxy forge), a couple of the planet types were not recognized. Not sure what this is about.

Just to add, I think you have done a superb job. That, with 70 planets there is very little lag (for me) makes this map a real joy. Well done!

Thanks for the info. I love playing this map, it fits perfectly with the SoA2 mod.
