Titan build time incorrect super weapon launch time possibly incorrect.

Titan issue on the rebel side, i've been playing the game a little over 7 hours in the first 30 mins i started building a titan. That same titan is still being built even though 406 seconds is the time needed to complete it.

One of the AI loyalst i've been playing against has had 3 titans and an army of capital ships. Please tell me i'm not crazy it's suppose to take a little over 7 mins to build a titan yet it's takeing me 7 hours and i still don't have one.

It gets better though he's launching his super weapon at me every 2 mins, i'm not sure of the exact cool down but i remember it to be a lot longer then 2 mins.

Did you research all four parts of the Titan Tech? Researching one tech allows you to construct an additional 25% of your faction's titan.

What concerns me the most is that the AI has three titans, but this issue should be addressed sooner or later since multiple titans has been addressed internally.

I researched 3 out of 4, in addition to rapid building which is suppose to let you build 50 percent faster.

You need to research all four to complete the building.

Research 3 out of four means you can't get past 75% completion. The extra build speed will let you get to that 75% mark faster, but it doesn't allow you to finish it.

As for the Novaliths, the AI isn't very good right now. Doesn't build a big fleet, so it has lots of cash to spare on things like Novaliths. So more than likely the AI just has quite a few of them that are constantly bombarding you (though I think the cooldown is more like 3-5 minutes).

To be honest I haven't play much of 0.61. If it can build a large fleet and Novaliths, that's great news.

Most of the AI I face has 1 titan and a huge armada of capital ships, which they replenish instantly haha.

This is actually somewhat problematic...so far I see the AI just build titans and caps with meager fleets to support them...this is either 1) very bad because the AI gimps itself in firepower or 2) very bad because the game is now "build titans and caps only", marginalizing everything else....

You shouln't judge the game by what the AI does, really. It's how human players use the ships and researches that defines how well the game is programmed. The AI not building lots of fleet may be related to the AI being programmed to prioritize capships more (which is a good thing compared to Diplomacy), but in a wrong way that messed up the way it builds frigates (which makes it bad again).

Or maybe the AI "forgot" how to research past fleet logistics 4 or 5, that's about the amout of fleet they push out after all, a titan, 14 caps and some minor frigate backup.

As for novaliths, it's annoying how AIs gang up on one player (preferrably ME) with their novaliths even if they are set to be in different teams. Either that or they blast a piratebase to hell and deprive me of my favorite XP income.

Like it or not, the vast majority of players are playing against the AI, either in SP or in MP comp stomps...not unreasonable to expect an AI that can handle the changes implemented in Rebellion....

Independent of the AI's competency, human fleet compositions have still been affected...given the power of Titans and their ability to crush frigates, the game is moving towards more caps, less fleet...it's not a Titan/caps only game yet, but it's moving that direction...
