I had the same issue. Once in game, i go to the video settings and changed the refresh rate which has been modified with the update. At the next launch, i can see the movie. Hope this can help you

Titan is OP =p Just checked this after posting in the Issues thread, though mainly about graphics there =/

The Loyalist has an instant capture of planet ability which the name of escapes me. In the Capital Planet destruction victory condition, it's OP in my opinion. I have never, ever beaten Vicious AI so easily, just 1-2 planets, quick Titan with a couple of Iconus as back-up, too easy.

The noises are very obtrusive like the TEC ones were, too loud and grainy compared to everything else. Amazing abilities on them though, just utter carnage with the Rebel Titan.

I wouldn't install this update yet. I just downloaded it and cannot play online anymore (messages says: have an older version of sins).
