Stardock Entertainment and Ironclad Games are very pleased to announce the release of Beta 2 for all Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion pre-order customers!

This second beta release adds in the Advent Loyalist and Advent Rebel factions, in addition to updated balance and optimizations for the TEC Loyalist and Rebels in either single-player or multiplayer via Ironclad Online or LAN. Also included in this release:

  • All the new technologies and balance of the Advent factions.
  • Construct the mind-controlling Loyalist Coranata or the devastating Rebel Eradica titans.
  • Expand your fleets with the new Discord class battleship capital ship and Acolyte/Vespa corvettes.
  • Steam Cloud support for save games.
  • More performance optimizations, graphics updates and lots more!

I have tried to play it twice now using Large/multi star with 6 AI opponents and it will lock up after about 3 hours of play and the games are lost.

I just purchased rebellion, how do i get my hand on the beta 2?

ObjectDock - Access shortcuts and frequently used applications from an animated dock.

Anyone know if the GalaxyForge map editor is supposed to work for this game or is it just mine that doesn't work?

Playing the beta and so far its running well. Just don't set ship speed to faster or it crashes. -_-
