New races were promised.... These aren't new races they are all the same as the old one with 2/3 diffences. its hardly noticable. atleast give the rebelships a different skin a bit more rugged then the loyalist.

I don't think they ever promised entirely new races. I agree the subfactions should be more diverse, but at best we were getting something like Command and Conquer: Zero Hour, which is the same factions focusing on different factions.

That said, did you play the patch released today? Game play wise I think the Advent feels a lot more unique than the TEC, but I could just be biased.

so far i regret getting rebellion... lets hope the mods for it will make it better. GO MOD COMMUNITY

If its just a quantity of content and not quality of content that's the problem, then I think mods will be a good bet for you.

New races were not promised but a different skin to differentiate would be nice.

all the new research you have been goin on about is pretty much all for your titan. other then that i think all the research is to much the same. i think there is supposed to be a better tech differences between the factions.

You need to pay better attention to the techs. Double up on starbases, increase in cultural effects, etc. True, some of the techs (like weapon enhancements) do help Titans (and not all their weapons are affected) but those are universal effects.

The corvettes.. they seem useless so far and not really worth your money. they only lower the armor. so i geuss they are usefull against titans. but against all other things they are a waste of supply.

You have only messed with one type of corvette. Other versions (Loyalist, Rebellion) do different things. But yes, they are still a work in progress.

ok the titans... these are actually really good. althought i dont like the 2 skillpoints per lvl. if it were only 1 you would have big differences during battles because you just cant pick everything.

other then that they seem whell balanced.

Remember you can now go 4 levels up. 20 points scattered across 24 possibilities can still be significant.

It has already been said, they didn´t promised new races, but nevertheless I agree with you. Loyalist and Rebells are not very different at the moment, I´m hoping for furthere improvements here.

I too enjoy Titans very much, especially since there now is a viable way to clear out all that goddam frikkin 150x Minefields .

I don´t realy regret buying Rebellion, but I am dissappointed that so few new content has been introduced so far, but remember, it´s still Beta and I´m still hoping that more content will be introduced later.

I think the problem lies in the main thing being added is Titans more or less and 2 caps per race. Personally I would have rather seen 2 Titans per race, 1 universal to both and the "specific Titan" ie the Loyalist/Rebel version of their idea of a Titan.

I hope that there is more Titans added with patching personally and maybe a release of that pesky 1 Titan lock so the chaos can ensue but of course I think in competitive MP to maintain balance there should be a 1 Titan per person lock purely because Titans are roflstomp machines (or at least the Ragnarov was haven't played it since it was patched up).

Nonetheless, we shall see... I know for a fact the modding community for Sins will make amazing things happen and I can't wait to see what the Distant Stars team come up with since that is easily my favourite mod for Trinity.

Hey DS Team, are you guys already working to convert rebellion to DS? If yes, how far along are you guys and is there an ETA for it?

In my opinion the tech differences for the TEC are big. The loyalist with the multi star bases is game changing - they can dig their heels in really well and I love it. I also love the rebel TEC so far they seem to have a like a gorilla war thing going where they can swarm over a planet pummel it and move on to the next.

Honestly I prefer that the Tec loyalist get instead of double starbase is double the number of titans.

The thing people need to realize is that when a civil war breaks out both sides pretty much start with everything they had before they split, therefore its more realistic to have both sides appear similar, however I do agree that more needs to be done to make the rebel and loyalist factions play and feel different. At the very least towards the late game, when both sides had have the time necessary to go along their own different military and political paths.

People are already looking at the code that's been released, but nothing definitive can be said. DS won't be converted while the Beta is in progress, but the aim is to have it rolling out soon after the final version is done.

Wait for the Vasari to come along. We want a full spectrum of ideas to play around with and implement before converting. That said some ground work is being laid down.

i think i pre-ordered ages ago when ever they offered it, loved Sins before that i loved Homeworld. well even if the game is a train wreck at least mods will shine.

Different skins would be nice, but i can understand is that isnt feasible, but a lot more techs would be nice, and a bit of a tweak for corvettes. Maby different skins for just some of the ships? The titans need ballanceing desperately!
