Rebellion Through Steam

Hey Guys,

 

I bought Rebellion through steam last night which then started downloading the beta. When it was done i naturally started her up and was asked for stardock info. I entered this but i always get error NET001, cannot send information please check firewall and proxy settings.

I have of course checked and rechecked everything but still get the same issue.

I have emailed support about this but thought i might ask you guys in the community to find out if you have any info on this that may help me.

I have the exact same issue. Support suggested running the game as admin, but that didn't do me any good and they seem to have given up on me.

Try temporarily turning your firewall off...

 

Sometimes for me to get video streams to work, even though all of my settings are correct and shouldn't be an issue, the firewall still blocks things.  Turn it off, things work great.  After what I was watching is done, turn it back on...  It's not the preferred method, but it works until I figure out what the real cause of the issue is.

Small update on the matter. Eager to play some sins i reinstalled my Trinity from Impulse (now GameStop) and when i try to run THAT it also asks for registration and i get the same error.

I would try to reinstall impulse.

Support will need to look into this if not. When was the last activity on your ticket (from them or from you)?

Earlier today, they responded to the ticket and I wrote back with some screenies of the problem.

The issue has now been solved for me and i can play the game.

Stardock support provided me with a workaround for the registration so if anyone else have the same issue (NET001 error) just contact support.
