Sins Rebelion Blue Screen Issue

I loaded Rebellion and it just black screened and closed itself without giving a crash dump error. Tried reopening it and it blue screens my computer. Now it just blue screens my computer every time I open it.
I've tried the recommended black screen fixes in the Rebellion forum and none of them fixed the problem.

Do you have the error message the BSOD gave you? Blue screens are usually driver problems, but if you write down the error and look it up, it might be something else.

It is a video driver blue screen. I have the issue on a HP Pavillion dv7 laptop using ATI video cards. The drivers are as up to date as I can get them as the downloaded video card update won't patch into the system properly. What would be a good solution to this?

On another note the drivers are fully up to date according to HP's system. ATI Radeon 6770M Video card is what I am using.
