Eyefinity Crash

Unplayable in Eyefinity mode...multi resolutions tried

Anyone else getting dumped while playing the Beta in Eyefinity resolutions?  I've been running 6032 x 1080 (bezel compensated) and 5760 x 1080, and within the first few minutes of gameplay, get dumped to desktop.  Sometimes a crash report gens, other times nada.

 

Playing the same resolution in "windowed" mode doesn't seem to be an issue (I'm about 8 hours into a 14 star game right now), though I suffer stutter/lag when I speed up the game to 4x or higher modes while windowed.  Playing at 1920x1080 likewise isn't a problem. 

 

One of those, "wait for the next round of AMD/ATI driver" issues? I imagine eyefinity support isn't as high a fix priority since it applies to a small subset, just curious if anyone else if having issues or if its my rig. (newest drivers on everything but MB -- no problems elsewhere)

Overall, I'm a huge fan of the series.  Programming dudes, you've done a helluva job with this title.  Keep up the great work, and we'll keep buying!

I've had some dumps to desktop and graphics driver resets with Eyefinity with a 5870 @ 5040x1050 but it also happens with EveOnline.  It may be the newer Catalyst drivers.

Heh, we just got the compatibility report back from AMD on EyeFinity. There is an issue with one mode they found; we'll look into fixing it if we can.
