ok so this morning i decided to get rebellion becasue i loved the first one and didnt get the follow up expansion, i install and what not and begin to play and notice that the textures on everything is terrible knwoing it didnt look this bad before, and on an older computer to boot. So i take some screen shots and notice no change happing after medium
its not my setup since i run other graphics intensive games near perfect quality and would like some insight if this is a common occurance, found something wile search but was old and never resolved and to state i am running on catalyst 11.11 and am hesitant to update since ive had such good fortune with this one but will try if no other option

welp just updated my drivers and no change,
edit... holy bleep, messed around with some settings in catyslst, specifically the Mipmap Detail Level, had on low and set on high. My god its so beautiful

I have gotten myself in trouble with the Catalyst Control Panel (little known fact that the "skinning" tech in the app is powered by Stardock's DirectSkin). I had messed up Star Wars, Old Republic with it pretty badly from tuning it for Battlefield 3 and had forgotten I had done that.
Can't you save profiles for every single game and have it swap between them? nView can do that...
