Video and other settings not saving when I quit.

Every time I launch the rebellion beta, I have to re-configure all of my settings.  I remember reading about a similar problem with sins trinity I believe, and it had something to do with the location of where the game save data is stored.  I have since deleted the savegame data for rebellion (I think in two locations) hoping to resolve the issue, but now it doesn't even create new settings data at all.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice (within steam) to no avail.  Any idea what might be going on?

Strange... I ran the "dev" executable in the steam folder and found that that created a new settings file.  I then deleted it and ran the regular game and now it's working correctly.

A friend of mine was experiencing the same problem with his video settings not saving as well, so I think this may be some bug.
