Passive faction bonus

I know it has been suggested before, but i still think it would be a good idea to give each faction a natural bonus from the start of the game, that way they are differentiated right from the start. You could even have it so each faction has has two natural bonuses, one positive and one negative base on their lore. They dont have to be super powerfull, just somthing with the same level of effect as having an artifact.

While not exactly at the start of the game, early on when you had to pick your sub faction in game apparently you got some bonuses and penalties for picking each sub faction. But that's been removed and despite several long threads to the contrary it probably won't be happening.

That said, I already have a mod that does this for trinity and faction uniqueness will be the first big thing I'll adjust, mostly with starting faction bonuses. So if you mostly play single player at least it won't be a huge deal...

well, you never know... I've been looking at the game files and there is still some files for choosing factions.

I've advocated this as well. Now that more of the abilities have been moved up and are accessible earlier, it's not as much of a necessity, but it would still be great to have an immediate benefit for choosing a particular faction.
