After Playing fully threw Occupation Victory

I don't see any problems with running this victory any more. But for one thing and this is just because I mainly play Single player.  The computer players did not seem to care at all about the victory condition planet at all. I did not get one challenge from the computer.  I do not think fixing this one is a priority. So maybe in a patch later. I also do not have any suggestions on how to fix it. I love the concept though.

I went for Occupation, but after taking it, the enemy only made one attempt at it, it was pretty feeble to be honest. Couple of capitals, a handful of cruisiers and maybe a dozen frigates, that ran away after losing 3 frigates and a kodiak, just fled the starbase I had sitting in the star though they could of probably taken it, I'd just left it there as a resupply and trade point, no weapons or hanger upgrades.

Played for another couple hours thanks to an autocast novalith shot that took its sweet time getting there taking the planet from me, I left it so not to win, so I could go artifact hunting, nothing ever went back to that star though, its like it just didnt exist to them.

I'm not sure if it's a factor, but maybe having multiple victory conditions is throwing the AI off. I played last night and a lot of forces were hugging stars constantly changing directions from pursuing a capital victory or an occupation victory. They didn't seem to want to commit to one or the other so they were essentially useless. However once I took the occ planet I was consistently the target of most attacks, however none of them were at the occ planet.
