What is the maximum fleet supply you can have?

I assume the base number is 2000, but this can be improved by various researches and some pacts. In my recent game for Vasari i saw in the fleet supply research window current supply at 2500. How did i got there? I know that is that Phasic Transmission Research, which gives you 15 percent more, so i reckon that would be 2000/100 = 20 -> 20x15 = 300 -> 2000 + 300 = 2300. Right? Where did the other 200 come from though? I had researched the Solitary Path research, which is supposed to give you additional 75, if you ally another Vasari Loyalists - but i did not, actually i played the game against single AI - TEC Loyalists. So i was in no pact either... any explanation? What am i missing?

I think Solitary Path gives you 75 FC for each VL you're aligned with, but beyond that, idk..

Whatever the max research is + the supply pact from TEC + whatever upgrades the Vasari have would be the max.

Perhaps solitary path is bugged still and gives you the sps anyway, 75 for every ai on map, or something like that.

Or you had a supply pact with a tec loyalist, which would give you 150 + (150*15%) = 173 sps.

Besides, he has concluded, not remembered, that he had no active pact (so I was...) which makes the assertion a bit dubious. Not that I am questioning it, merely explaining the multiple possibilities in the reply.

actually i played the game against single AI - TEC Loyalists

I suppose that this (with an indeterminate article) might mean that it was a 1vs1. Without, not. Always difficult to tell the meaning with the general use of english these days.

Yes, it was 1vs1 and i did not had any pacts with AI. I do not think thats even possible on 1vs1, or?....

I suppose it may be a malfunctioning with solitary pact: after all vasari shouldn't be in the game, so perhaps the mechanics are not properly working. For example there might be no way to identify a vasari loyalist faction to adjudicate the bonus yet.

To answer your question, Timmaigh, I must ask you a question. What type of fleet supply did you chose during the setup phase? Small, normal, or large?

While playing the Advent, I had; for small, the max supply was 1,500; for normal, the max supply was 2,000; lastly, for large, the max supply was 2,500.

Since you do not say "I researched Phasic Transmissions," I am going on the assumption that you did not research it.

I would think so too - seeing that the race is unfinished, there are bound to be bugs (thus somewhat wasting time.) I do have to admit, however, that some bugs are easy to overlook and attention needs to be brought to them - for example, while playing as the Vasari Rebels, warping in a starbase into a gravity well that already one of your own starbases crashes the client.

Nope, that is not possible. The AI will turn against you when you are the only player left that is able to oppose it.

I always play with Large. Is there actually "Small" option? I never noticed it, LOL.

This makes this interesting however, if i had 2500 and its supposed to be 2500 by default, what about the Phasic Transmissions then? I definitely had that researched. Additionally, the Fleet logistics tab,when clicking on those individual fleet supply levels, has shown the max to be "18** - 2000*, but current supply it listed at 2500.

There's small, medium and large, so if you had 2500 on large with phasic transmissions researched, it's very likely that the tech doesn't work yet.

That is weird then, i realize the Vasari are not ready, but this is old tech, with no relation to the new stuff, so i do not see any reason, why should it be broken. 

 

EDIT: Just checked it out, and regardless of the setting - be it Small, Normal, or Large, when you hover the mouse over the final, max Fleet Supply level, the infocard says 1680->2000. Not sure, how it worked on Diplomacy, but its IMHO wrong, it should be dependent on the setting, so when you play "Large" for example, it should be showing "whatever number -> 2500" on the max level. Then, the Current Supply Number can take into account those Researches and Pacts and show more than 2500, if you have them.
