Is Vasari really the warfare race?

Just had this thought how can the Vasari fit the lore of the warfare race when they lacka  certain thing...

No anti-structure unit!!!!!

`reasons why they should`

They are a warfare race that subjected and destroyed countless civilazation
LORE Those who had expanded into space were quickly exterminated. LORE

Yet how can they exterminate them if they have NO units to destory the enemys structures!!!!!!!!

haha hopefully been playing it and just imported the old vasari race from diplomacy for kicks and giggles rather than cheat myself of the reveal and got my butt kicked by the AI on cruel every time :P

They have an Orky Starbase that can move, and has anti structure weapons, so that's the anti-structure weapon. You just 'inject' the Starbae, and tada, anti-structure weapon.

Ehhhh... Vasari don't need any help vs structures.

While they're missing dedicated anti-structure ships, they have all the tools needed to clear defensive structures efficiently.

Subverters can disable structures. They have a strong collection of defense reducing abilities and a highly durable fleet. Their superweapon not only disables and damages all orbital structures but lets you bypass heavily fortified worlds entirely. I really enjoy attacking a beefy starbase with a Vasari fleet and watching all the debuffs dogpile...

Man, I miss playing them, I need to load up some Diplomacy...

*EDIT* And of course you can do all this without taking supply away from your ship-to-ship fleet, because all the ships that have useful anti-structure abilities are good in direct engagements, too!

The Orky's first weapon upgrade is Disintegrator banks that are antimodule and deal 18 DPS to each target with four targets per bank and four banks, so the Orky is the best anti-structure unit in the game.  Yes, it's more expensive, but it has way more utility than Orgovs or Adjudicators.

I know.

Lets give them the strongest anti-structure unit of all with a lot of hit points and weapons besides just anti-structure. Mind you for balance reasons I think it should be built similar to a Star Base. But it would be epic. Slow moving structure of DOOM! Muhahahahahah! }:)
