TEC Rebel awesomeness and or bug

So im not sure if its intended to be this way but...  Im tec rebels, and i call in a pirate raid on a planet, then go and siege it, kill everything, and the next thing i know I have A FREE PIRATE FLEET just guarding my planet.  Pretty awesome but it seems like a bug.  Let me know ur thoughts.

Did you research the pirate truce?

You can also research a tech for free pirate ships as well.

The Pirates will leave the gravity well after they have completed the mission they were sent on. In your typical scenario, they remained in the gravity well until all hostile objects were obliterated (all enemy ships and structures). This is basically how normal raids work as well.

Because you clearly researched Truce Amongst Rogues, the Pirates will not attack you and view you as friendly.

Whats nice is if you attack and take an enemy planet that is at the time being attacked by rebels, any surviving rebels stick around the planet as free defensive ships. They arn't very powerful, but they dont cost you any supply
