Killing a level 10 Titan

Ok, here's the following situation. I am facing a Vasari Rebel opponent who is sharing my border. I am Vasari loyalist. This is a single player skirmish against the AI.

After losing an engagement with a major force and losing about half of my capital ship fleet, I had to stop a major incursion by this enemy, who brought a level 10 titan, a couple of capital ships, and a medium sized fleet. I have approximately 10 capital ships (about half are level 2 or lower, some are higher up to 8 or 9, and about half Kortul Devastators), a fully upgraded starbase with maximum weapons and armor, and I have a level 6 titan. I have also been adding a large supporting fleet consisting of mostly enforcers with some sentinels and some support cruisers. The enemy has only his titan, but because I have a phase jump inhibitor, he is not jumping. Instead, there's a stalemate where I can't kill him and he can't kill me. My ships don't gain experience, and he keeps regenerating the 4,000 or so hull points I knock him down almost instantly. Suggestions on how to take the titan down?

Just start bomber spamming like mad before the titan starts destroying your frigates.

Will that solve the regenerating problem? I'm putting a ton of lead on the target, but nothing's working.

Point of the bombers is not to get close to the titan so it can't regenerate. Frigates are actually worse than useless against a high level Vasari Rebel titan, best just to bring your own titan and a few Kortuls (disruptive strikes will keep its abilities under control), a skinatra or two for healing, and Jarrasul to kill the thing faster. Meanwhile build as many carrier cruisers as possible and keep them away from the main battle while your bombers and fighters help out. Nano leach will still do a little bit of healing off your capitalships but it should be winnable.

Are you attacking full on with your fleet?

Try keeping your fleet away from the titan and have the bombers attack it only.

Get it to attack a starbase with 6 repair platforms then just ignore it.

Pull out the Kostura and start dropping fleeta on his back worlds, and being Loyalists.. Capture and consume them if possible. Won't help kill the Titan directly, but might not need to.

This is also the first time I've played against a Vasari Rebel, and I'm a dope, but I guess its ability absorbs my own ships and turns it into regeneration?

It's most iconic ability is Nano Leech that drains hull and AM from all frigates and capitals and uses it to replenish it's own. It then has an ability called Nano Remit that drains it's own hull and AM to replenish that of it's allies.  It's third ability is Gravity Pulse which slows the RoF and speed of your ships by default, but when coupled with Nano Leech, will actually disable your frigates entirely.  It's level six nukes everything smaller than a titan.

The only way to fight such a thing is bomber spam and/or Kortuls.  Disruptive Strikes will bring down it's AM fast enough that so long as you don't feed it AM via frigates, you should be fine.  Without AM feed, it's more or less worthless as it has very little combat ability.  If you can separate it from it's fleet, it has no ability to effectively fight titans or starbases.
