When I launch the game it will load in to the starting cinematic normally, and then about 10 seconds later it will crash to desktop with no error message. If I hit escape during the loading cinematic, I will immediately go to the main menu as per normal, EXCEPT none of the menu options (singleplayer, multiplayer, etc) are clickable. When I mouse over them the highlighted effect indicated I have my mouse over the option displays, and the button lights up like it's supposed to, but when I click on it nothing happens, and it still crashes after about 10 seconds. So it crashes whether I sit at the menu, unable to click anything, AND when I just watch the cinematic.
Additionally, I've tried re-installing several times now, and each time that I do the settings directory for rebellion that should me in a hidden folder in user/documents/games is not being created. As in, I don't have a settings folder at all? Very unusual.
Rebellion worked for when in Beta 2 when it was first launched and I played quite a bit, now that Vasari are out I want to play again. I am using the MOST up to date drivers (beta drivers tested, no effect, reverted to latest stable release). I am using an Nvidia 560TI.
