Well, that's my personal thoughts...

2. Boarding Party can send you some ships. Though the problem is you can't count on it when you really need it...

3. I like that skill now. Though it can damage ships heavily, which make the game worse and more strikecraft-heavy now.

4. Salvage Operations makes it as a tank. That makes me confusing, because 1) I don't think one race should have 2 kinds of tank; and 2) just from the points of game lore, a personnel ship should never be a tank.

5. But they are still the crews of Corsev... so they need to return to it, isn't it...

And, the most important one!

Corsev is too antimatter starved to be real counter to corvettes when the corvettes are main threath, IE at the beginnigs of the game.

In my experience, it is a gimicky ship that loses it utility after first 5 minutes of game. It needs too much micro to be worth it after the point where fleets grow too much. It needs too much am to be useful when attacking.

So it is a anti corvette rush stop gap at the beginning of the game, nothing more.

There is nothing wrong with the Corsev really. It can be a very useful capital ship, especially in early and mid-game.

I'm kinda perplexed with all the new cap ship models. As you say, the Corsev is plain ugly; the Rankulas isn't so bad, but looks completely out of place next to other Vasari caps (and it's twice the size for some reason); the Discord is probably the best-looking, but still kinda out-of-place and out-of-scale with the other Advent caps.

Also, while I love the concept of Advent and Vasari titans being more like 'creatures' than just ships, giving them a dolphin and a lobster for new capital ships is, again, all the more out of place compared to the originals. Or are the new guys meant to not fit in?

If you have more than one boarding party active on a ship youll cap it before it dies.

Where are you getting that idea?  I didn't think you were right at first, but just to be sure, I double-checked with the buff files themselves.  For one thing, there's a stacking limit of 1 and for another, there is no test to see if it already has the buff.  In other words, there's no way that what you're talking about would ever happen.  Using multiple Corsevs only effectively increases the duration.

Technically speaking however, you *always* cap it before death.  The trigger for the conversion is "IfOwnerIsAboutToDie" which only triggers when the game would ordinarily perform a kill command

Why would flux field ever matter to corvettes?  Their abilities are passive.  Are you referring to the Dunov buffing itself to heal the corvettes more times?

Honestly, IMO, Shield restore is kind of wasted if used on corvettes because after level 1, you're wasting AM trying to regen more than they have.
