I have been reading a lot of posts about things that people would like to see in sins Rebellion

 

what features would you like to see in the sins? And why?

I will start with my main wishes

1 The ability to turn mines off

2 The ability to turn super weapons off

3 Shared artifacts (if I get one my ally gets it to)

4 Auto ship replace (if i lose a ship in battle it will be automaticaly rebuilt if I have the money)

5 The option to turn trade ships off (to help with cpu costs and slowdown)

1 and 2.  nope, can't have switch that turns off stuff or research that switches other research items off.
3. Why?
4. just stupid, worse than the titans that rebuild with all xp/levels
5. you can turn off the icon, but the trade/refinery ships actually carry stuff which makes them worth capping.

This is retarded...do you know how many mesh points it would take to properly do a cookie model, with crumbs and fine-tipped chocolate chips????  Might as well just call it the "The MD inducing Cookie Monster" ship...

Pudding ships would be much better...they could just use simple 2D effects that swirl and do other awesome pudding things without breaking the game's memory limitations...

Damn that's actually not bad...FYI, if you didn't already know, toggling the "Use deep space skyboxes" on and off will change the current skybox, so with a few clicks you can get pretty much any skybox you want...

7DS is planning to retexture the Arilou Mothership as an Oatmeal Raisin cookie and have it fire raisins at the Vanilla Races.  These will have to do until then.

I wish StarClad had pursued research that could disable other research because I'm a selfish prick who wants it for 7DS so the Empire faction could select Jedi (disables Sith) and get all their ubershieldtankies or select Sith (disables Jedi) and get all their omgwtfbbq turbolasers and ion missiles.  I really think it cheapens the game just to have 2 different entity files for each race so it's all about rock/paper/scissor/stone/parchment/shears instead of keeping the other poor bastard guessing which way their enemy is going.  Also, it's gonna be a royal bitch working out races that have no rebel/loyalist faction, but oh the fun!

I also wish I had more soda.  :P

Techs can change a players "Faction ID"....look at the "DECLAREFAC" technologies...

It would be very kind of you, if you can also replace the stupidly looking fly-swatter.

I rarely play mods, but now I'm looking for a decent and normal and humanoid ship.

True, I often simply stick with the deep space option checked and the other not. I really like a few of the skyboxes, I'm just really lazy to go through the skyboxes to get the on I want. Which is why I suggested it.

In the dev exe you can change skyboxes at will; it's under the "Rendering" group.

I like autoreplace, remove some of the tedious fleet management.

Maybe shared artifacts could be a research or pact or some diplomacy option because i don't like that if my friend has an artifact that helps me a lot on a planet that he needs, then I have to either unally/have him give up the planet or loose out on the artifact.

It makes sense that if one empire is allied with another for them to share some technology.

The top of my wish list is 64 bit but i have no delusions of that happening in rebellion.

The thing i think they should work on first is the scale of the titans. the tec rebel titan feels like a large capital ship, hardly titanic in proportions. when i first heard about the titans, i expected them to be massive bunker busters that was a huge achievement to kill. Now I understand why they can't be as late game or as powerful as I initially thought, but i still think they should be bigger, especially the TEC titans.
