glitch involving multiplayer game

I've had two issues lately involving two separate games and two players. After awhile of playing about 2hr or 3 I end up loosing sight of his ships and fights between fleets happen and I can't see anything. For example He had 8 capital ships in a sector but I couldn't see them, what I saw was 2 heavily damaged ships. I was in the same room with him so I walked over and looked at his screen. I asked him to move his titan over to my capital world and that worked just fine. He asked for my help he was getting attacked by a fleet and a titan, so he pinged the planet I saw nothing there.

Sounds like a desync. The problem has been noted, but if you happen to have save games from both computers and all the other stuff the devs want, I suggest you send them the stuff.
