Graphics bug when planet bombing as TEC

Strange terrain effects during planet bombing

I just wanted to post a comment on a bug I saw when bombing hostile planets as TEC.  (I don't know if this holds true for other races).  The planet continues to rotate but the explosion detonation stays put giving the impression that the explosion is moving along the planet surface.  This also causes the explosion graphic to start going under the surface of the planet at the later part of it's animation.  Has anyone else noticed this happening?

Its been like that since original sins, and yes its the same with all factions. Yea the clipping is slightly annoying, However i dont think much can be done about it at this point (SD/IC?? can something be done?), because the planet is a mesh, and the planet bombing hits are particles. I dont know much about the coding behind it all. I dont let it bother me too much.

I can honestly say I never noticed it with the other Sins.  Maybe because the animation is faster and it isn't as obvious when it's happening. Thanks for the reply! :)

It doesn't bug me hardly. I'd rather the devs focused their time on supposedly 'game-breaking' issues.

Yes. This is a minor issue. Though maybe later on down the road they might take a look at it, and see what they can do. If anything.
