This mod simply replaces all vanilla music with selected tracks from Homeworld, Homework Cataclysm and Homeworld 2. In my opinion, no soundtrack captures the profundity of space as the Homeworld soundtracks did.

Don't do this! Sins has a mod system for a reason! Never override original files, even if they're just music.
Instead, go to the "My Documents" folder, then "My Games". Navigate through "Ironclad Games", "Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion", and in there you should see a folder called "Mods-Rebellion v1.01 (or current version)".
In that folder, make a new folder called "Homeworld Music Replacement Mod" or whatever you want to call it. In that folder make a new folder called "Sound" and extract the .rar in it (the music files should be directly in the Sound folder). Then go to the main menu, options, and mods tab. Enable your new mod and you have home world music, no need to override base files and you can toggle it off and on as you wish.

Already had all the music for a different mod so not to much work. Just a matter of picking the Quiet, Sad, Upbeat, and Battle tracks. Lots of these songs are real short so I may mix a few together. Watch for a new mod post in a week or 2.
Using the post above for a sandbox to collect info and post some work in progress, like the album cover I just put togerther at 500x500. Working on the text effects to match what's there now.

I was talkin about me modding Rebellion files. As far as the music, its all over youtube and different websites for download so I cant see to much hassle.
Who would have thought that Santa, alias myfist0 hangs around the sins forums.
Perhaps I might get my Christmas wish after all.
